1. Install MS-UAA and restart:
Microsoft Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) Bus Driver for High Definition Audio (sp33867)

Then Install audio Driver:
( From my experience, select version 3.47.1.50 works compare to 3.26.0.0A)

Conextant High Definition Audio Driver
Version: 3.26.0.0 A  1.38MB

(Installing Audio drivers may result in an error. But continue with the following steps to get the audio driver installed correctly.)

a. Click on Start and select Run. Now type devmgmt.msc and press enter.
b. Right click on “Audio device on High Definition Audio Bus” and click Update driver.
c. Select “Install from a list or specific location”.
d. Click Next. Then select “Don’t search, I will choose the driver to install”.
e. Click Next and then select “Sound, video and game controller” from the list.
f. Click Next and then click Have Disk.
g. Click Browse C:\swsetup\sp34200 folder and select the At8VEN5a.inf  file and click open and continue with the onscreen instructions.

If failed:

Extract the driver folder first and install.

a. Click on Start and select Run. Now type devmgmt.msc and press enter.
b. Right click on “Audio device on High Definition Audio Bus” and click Update driver.
c. Select “Install from a list or specific location”.
d. Click Next. Then select “Don’t search, I will choose the driver to install”.
e. Click Next and then select “Sound, video and game controller” from the list.
f. Click Next and then click Have Disk.
g. Click Browse to the driver folder we extracted earlier and select the TE1ER5a.inf  file and click open and continue with the onscreen instructions.

2. For audio if you have problem installing the drivers, or after installation it didn't work we have to locate different version for your audio drivers. This case is rarely happen but in case it happen to you first thing to do is to get the hardware ID and post it here. Do mention your windows XP version (sp1, sp2 or sp3).

3. Audio Drivers: Need Volunteer
I've been struggling for past few years to keep C700 audio drivers for xp available on the net. No upload is allowed since it is illegal to do that, so here i need volunteer to test this drivers since it is available in HP server. So no need to struggle for upload, re-upload, finding mirror file.

Here is the idea, get the original windows vista drivers for your C700 audio here:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp40501-41000/sp40762.exe

Then install this drivers by installing the drivers first and ignore the error, then:

a. Click on Start and select Run. Now type devmgmt.msc and press enter.
b. Right click on “Audio device on High Definition Audio Bus” and click Update driver.
c. Select “Install from a list or specific location”.
d. Click Next. Then select “Don’t search, I will choose the driver to install”.
e. Click Next and then select “Sound, video and game controller” from the list.
f. Click Next and then click Have Disk.
g. Click Browse C:\swsetup\sp40762\spartan1.0\v32 folder and select the SprtHDza.inf  file and click open and continue with the onscreen instructions.
